- Walk the Delivery Path; Measure doorways, hallways, stairways, and areas where there may be a tight fit to ensure your appliance will fit.
- Measure Your Space; First, the height from the floor to the bottom of any overhead cabinets/countertop, then, the depth, leaving additional space to open the machine door, and finally, the width. Don’t forget to leave space for breathing room on each side and in the back.
- Check Outlets/Water Lines; Make sure you have an electrical outlet within reach of the appliance’s power cord and a water shut-off valve located on the same floor, within 4 feet of where you’ll install the appliance.
